Study on the role of digitalisation and innovation in creating a true single market for retail financial services
This study focuses on the crossroads between digitalisation and direct cross-border activity. More specifically, it assesses whether and to what extent digitalisation can contribute to the creation of a true single market for retail financial services and non-life insurance. This research was carried out by a team of researchers from CEPS in cooperation with the University College Cork (UCC) and the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST).
This study was prepared at the request of the Directorate-General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union of the European Commission, under the call FISMA/2015/075D.
