Informing policy on European capital markets

ECMI conducts in-depth research aimed at informing the debate and policy-making process on a broad range of issues related to capital markets. Through its various activities, ECMI facilitates the interaction among market participants, policymakers and academics. The board is composed of highly reputed individuals in their field of expertise. The research staff works on the basis of an independent agenda; they are assisted by the academic committee.

Activities

The exchanges with stakeholders result in commentaries, policy briefs, working papers, task forces as well as conferences, workshops and seminars. In addition, ECMI undertakes commissioned research and publishes external contributions. The ECMI's funding comes from a variety of sources, including membership, studies, event fees and publications sales.
