Iceland: Big lessons from a small country?

This market commentary by Charles Gottlieb highlights the difficulties that highly open economies such as Iceland face when global liquidity is getting scarce. He argues that for Iceland the deal would be to swap its status of dynamic economy, in exchange for European regulation and  monetary policy that doesn’t necessarily reflect the internal economic situation of the country.
